Delivery & Shipping
Online ordering facility is available for delivery within Australia only. A standard $9.95 freight applies.

This freight fee covers all items purchased on the one order. This will be clearly displayed in your ‘gift box’ prior to completing your transaction.

Additional freight charges may be incurred for heavy / bulky deliveries as well as deliveries to rural and remote locations within Australia.

In the case of bulky items/remote areas, customers will be contacted to agree on the additional freight charges, prior to delivery.

Items are usually delivered within 3 to 10 working days, it may take longer for remote areas.

Shipping Method
All orders are sent via Australia Post's ePost electronic freight management system. All orders require signature on delivery.

Buying for a Gift
If you are purchasing as a gift to be delivered to someone else, please make sure you have provided your own contact email or phone number correctly. This will allow us to contact you if there is problem with the delivery or address details - otherwise it will be necessary to contact the recipient - and possibly ruin the surprise!

Returns & Refunds Policy
Our aim at Gifts.com.au is to ensure that our customers are 100% satisfied at all times. If you are in any way dissatisfied with the products you have received, we can organise an exchange or refund for you, so long as the products are returned to us in its originally, undamaged packaging.

Delivery Delays
If there is a delivery delay for your purchase or it is out of stock Gifts.com.au will advise you within two working days.

Faulty or Damaged Goods
If an item is damaged or faulty, please notify us within 7 days of receipt by ringing our Customer Service line on 61 2 9698 4586. Our friendly team is available to assist you from Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.00pm AEST. You can also email us at info@gifts.com.au.

Customer service will issue you with a Return Authorisation (RA) Number. Include the RA number in the following return address:

(It is advised that you return your damaged product, using an insured delivery service ie Registered Post, this will insure your own protection)

Exchanging an Item
If you want to exchange a product for any other reason, you must pay for the freight and we must receive the goods back in the original, unopened packaging within 14 days. Please include a copy of your order when returning goods.

Refunds:
Gifts.com.au can process a refund by processing a credit to your credit card. The amount refunded will depend on the reason for the return:
If you have received a damaged product or the wrong product, we will be happy to refund both the product and freight charge
If you have changed your mind and no longer wish to keep your purchase, only the product cost can be refunded.


Buying Online
GIFTS.COM.AU provides a secure online shopping experience. This page provides a summary of what you need to do to buy online from this site.

Firstly you need to browse the site and add items to your “Gift Box”.

When you have everything you need click the “checkout” button.

Your Giftbox summary will appear itemising your order and charges. Once more you will need to click the “checkout” button.

You will then be prompted log in or join. To join click “join now” in the top left hand corner. We require you to join so that we can track your order in the system and you receive notification about your order being processed. If you have previously signed up on our GIFTS.COM.AU website you can use the same login and password.
When you join as a member your address details are saved so you will not need to type them in again at your next purchase. All these details are password protected. Your details will not be forwarded to any other unrelated companies for marketing purposes.

There are 4 main steps in the checkout & payment process.

1. Shipping & Billing Address
You need to choose where you would like your order sent.
You can select one of two options:
a) “Deliver to billing address displayed” or
b) “Enter a different delivery address for this order”

If you are sending the items to someone else make sure you add their details where prompted and click “next”. If you are having the items sent to your own home address confirm your details then click “next

Remember we can only deliver items to addresses within Australia. International customers can order online and have the items sent to relatives and friends within Australia.

2. Confirm Order
Next you are asked to confirm your order and the total charges, including the delivery charge that will be added to your credit card. Our standard delivery charge is $9.95 per order anywhere in Australia.

The figure next to “Total” is what will be charged to your credit card. If you are happy with this click the “Confirm Order” button then select “Pay for order”.

3. Payment
You will then be taken out of the GIFTS.COM.AU site to a secure payment gateway hosted by WESTPAC.

Here you need to enter your credit card details and click “Authorise payment”. You will be advised once your payment has been successfully processed. A copy of your tax invoice will also be emailed to you (this is optional). Once completed you can return to Gifts.com.au to log out or continue shopping.

NB: All credit card details are handled by the bank. GIFTS.COM.AU does not hold any credit card details from online

4. Credit Card Processing
Credit card processing is carried out by the WESTPAC BANK Web Advantage facility. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Bankcard and American Express. Transactions can be processed on cards issued outside of Australia. Once your transaction is approved by WESTPAC your receipt number is returned and you will be returned to the GIFTS.COM.AU website where you will be issued with a receipt.
